Howdy Johnson's Barn,

Our family was there last weekend for the dance... had a lot of fun! We came from Bagley/Bemidji, MN. It is 120 miles to your place from our. A bunch of our friends would like to come next time. We would be bringing about 12+ peoplae. Avalanche is awesome!!!

 

Wow! I was at the dance on Friday. My second one. I went to the one where silverado played. It was ok. My friends told me I needed to go see Avalanche. I couldn't believe it!There were so many people there I couldn't move! But I was at the front of the stage with the band. They are so nice and so fun to be around. Love your barn. Barbie from Grand Forks:  WOW! I was so impressed with you show last night at the Barn, you guys really stepped it up. The new guy was great you guys are going to be a top band in know time. That was so cool when Bryan & the new guy Martin played the FIDDLE together in Drinking my baby goodbye that was so fricking cool. There is no band around there has 2 fiddle players let alone 2 fiddle players playing on stage at the same time, nice. We will see you at the barn in April.

 

 

Trevor, from Wapheton, comment: As it was the last time i am hoping the dance 2night will be just as awesome! love the comments in the update about the guy on his buddys shoulders which by the way was me and my roommate! there was even pictures so that was great i copied them and put them on my computer! We are coming to the dance tonight in which it is december 5th so im sure it will be a blast!  Mandy from Fargo says,

I was to your barn dance for the first time on April 7th, and I thought it was the coolest thing I have found on this side of the state. I am from over by Beulah ND. I thought the food was really good to. Just wanted to let ya know how great it is that you have something like that out east here.

One of the few things that I get excited about doing, is going the the barn dances.  A place where my friends and I can go to have a good time in a great place.  I have been going there now for over five years and I loved every time there.  I get activated in January and I am going to miss going to your dances.  I am going to be anxious to come back and get back to the barn.  God bless and see you when I get back.   Lanceferd

i love coming to the barn from the smell of the pigs to all of the fun i have there. it was the first place i broughgt my husband to when he came from iraq. thank you for doing this. it is the best time ever. I do not now how i would get through the winter with out them. i can go and be free for a night thank you again.  Natalie R

POINT BLANK was awesome...definitely one of the most versatile bands that I have seen in a long time.  You need to have them again...hopefully the word will get out now how great of a band they really are!  WE really enjoyed ourselves the other night...we haven't been to a barn dance in quite some time.  THANKS AGAIN for having Point Blank!!!

I even had my 18th birthday party there! Dear Johnson’s Barn~

I would first like to say that I have enjoyed coming to your barn dances ever since I came to UMC and my roommates told me to come. In May of 2004 I came to the last dance of the season and that is where I started dating my current boyfriend, and let me tell you I have never been happier. We are planning on coming to the last dance even though school is out and I might be leaving to Nebraska for a internship, we want to celebrate our year anniversary with you and the barn crew. We both love country music and we love to dance. I just wanted to send you a big thank you!!!!!!
